1000 LIKES COMPETITION TIME!!

Hi All,

I promised all my "Facebook Fan's" that I would hold a competition for the chance to win a free photo shoot with myself, as a way of thanking you all for your much, much, much appreciated likes, support, continued interest, kind compliments etc. which mean so much to me. I could waffle on for ages about how much it means to me to have 1002!!!!!!! people watching my work, whether it be because you are a client of mine, you would like to be a client of mine or whether you are also a Photographer and are inspired by my work, but I won't!!

Now onto the reason your all reading this................

The Competition.

The Winner will be announced on January 22nd 2013
The Winner will receive a voucher from me which entitles you to a FREE 1 hour photo shoot with Moi. This will also include 1 fully edited, high resolution, copyright free digital file (which you can then use as you wish whether it be to print, blow up and turn into a canvas, framed piece, email to friends and family, upload on Facebook, or all of the above) PLUS 2 8x10 prints of your choice. You will have around 100 photographs to choose from .

The Rules.

The shoot must take place within 30 miles from EN6. If you live further we can meet at an agreed venue closer to EN6.
The shoot will be for you and your immediate family only (i.e mummy, daddy, and your little people, and doggies :-)  not grandma, grandpa, great aunties, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews etc. :-p sorry x x

How to enter.

1.Share the love and share my page with ALL of your facebook friends  ;-)
2. Go to my Photos Icon (small box/photo under my large cover photo at the top right of my page)
3. Go to the "Timeline" Album in my "Albums" folder and scroll through to find your TWO favorite photographs 1 Wedding shot and 1 Little People shot and comment on each shot with the reason you Love the shot.
4. Once you have done the above your name will be popped into a Hat and on the 22nd of January my own beautiful little people will pull the winners name out of the Hat and the photo/or video of them doing this will be posted on my page that night :-)

The FABULOUS Hexton Manor

I have had the pleasure of shooting a few weddings at this FAB, very english, country home venue in Herts/Beds Hexton Manor, and it's walled garden. I LOVE this venue. The owners, wedding planners and staff are all very welcoming, helpful and efficient.

You get married in the actual house, then have drinks out on the lawn, with the most stunning surroundings including a lake with swans etc. Then walk over to the very old Walled Garden where your marquee and party is held. You can even if your lucky go for a romantic row around the lake with you new hubby/wifey.

I really would recommend this venue and i think the photos speak for them selfs? What do you think?

Our well needed summer Holiday

I have been so busy and have really neglected my blog so i think its time to catch up a little bare with me. To start i thought id share some recent pic of babies :-) x

Back in July we had our first proper family holiday with the four of us to Turkey. It was VERY hard work as Louie is 2 and LOVES a tantrum!! It was great to get away though, for me to leave my work at home for two weeks and soak up the very hot sun :-) !

Little Mia

Last week I went to meet Jat, Roz and their little popett 15 week old Mia. Mia was a dream, so peaceful and content and didn't make a fuss at all. In fact I think she enjoyed the fuss and camera pointing at her ;-).

Ged and William's Special Day

The last time I photographed these two handsome chaps, Ged was only a couple of weeks old. This time i was photographing William and Ged's Christening in Old Hatfield. William was very grown up about the whole thing and Ged didn't make a sound!

Hexton Manor

My first experience of Hexton Manor was when I was booked to shoot the gorgeous wedding of Mr & Mrs Sherwood last year, and I fell in love with it. Hexton Manor was built in 1750. The lake and parklands which surround it were laid out very soon after. The house itself was restored at the end of the Victorian period , and the impressive main hall and reception rooms have retained the feeling of that period. One of the things I love most about this venue is that it has always been a family house, and the present owners have lived there for three generations.

Sarah who runs the wedding side of things at Hexton asked me to photograph her big day after she saw the Sherwood wedding shots and I was delighted to do so and it was the perfect day and a fabulous party. Soon after she asked me if I would like to be the official photographer for Hexton's Weddings and of course I was thrilled and I look forward to many more fabulous weddings at Hexton.

The Wedding Planner magazine did a feature this month of Sarah and Justin's special day.

Mr & Mrs Calvert

I had the honour of photographing a very old friend get hitched at the gorgeous Parklands in Feb this year. It was the perfect day and I wish Abbi and Nate the very best with their life.

(Sorry but the photos are the wrong way round and I have only just realised as I have finished uploading them and must dash now as the babies are awake from their nap!) Sorry!! ;-)
